Look at what they are saying at Cockytalk.

"I agree, I sat up there right above the Tenn. Band. First of all, all the Tenn. Fans behind me were LOUD. I could not hear our band at all, especially when 2001 was being played b/c freaking rocky top was playing. Second we need some real fans up there, when you sit on the lower decks it's crazy, up top, everyone just sits on their hands."

:post-4-1090547912: Vol fans are the best in the country.

Last I read, they are blaming the loss on what the BAND played before the 4th quater:

The tradition of playing "Carolina Girls" at the end of the 3rd quarter changed the fighting vibe that we had going on in the stadium, and it showed going into the 4th quarter. They need to play this at half time from now on or something, or get rid of it all together. It's hard to make a stadium seem like a hostile environment with that song playing.

I loved seeing all that orange in that stadium, and yet I felt sorry for the Vols fans that had to endure any amount of time spent in the mud hole, jerk water, God forsaken town that is Columbia, SC

Now they are blaming it on the position of where Pride of the Southland band sat during the game!!!

MOVE THE GOSH DAMNED VISITORS' SECTION OUT OF THE SECTION WHERE THE ECHO IS LOUDEST! Did anyone else get sick of hearing how loud Tennessee's band was and how quiet South Carolina's seemed? It's rediculous how everyone talks about having home-field advantage, but there's no way it matters when the visitors control the loudest area.

CLUELESS

Well now we know why we won. Our band is too loud, and their band plays the wrong songs.:)
