I hate Alabama as much as any other UT fan, but.....

Neither deserved it. I think it is pretty obvious that the Selection Committee doesn't even watch basketball anymore though.

Alabama played a craptastic OOC schedule and garnished wins in the sewer of the SEC West. Boo Hoo

The brackets are really good. Alabama's non-conference schedule was a freaking joke, they also played UGA without Trey Thompkins one game and never played them in Athens.

Georgias worst loss was to Alabama in the SEC tourney. Thats impressive considering they beat some good teams as well.

On one hand you tell Alabama they dont deserve to get in because of their out of conference schedule and weak SEC west schedule. But then they are going to say are schedule maybe weak but we did play Georgia twice and beat them and you put them in the tournament. Tough call, I agree they shouldn't get in though.

They beat Georgia...less than 3 day ago

I don't consider GA being that good of a team. And we could be considered good, but we don't consistently play well (obviously). So those wins against us and GA aren't that impressive.

We have beaten good teams (nova, pitt, vandy x2, etc), they have not

Bama had an RPI 80

With an RPI of 80 and a strength of schedule was 114, it is hard to justify selecting them for the tourney. UGA may not match up well with AL, but UGA had an RPI of 48 and a SOS of 40.
