I hate moral victories.... but....

I am damn proud of those boys tonight.

I said it in another thread,

Losing because a player was going all out for the score and lost control at the last possible millisecond is much better than losing because the coach is so incompetent that he leaves 13 guys out on the field or is too scared to run one extra play to give the kicker a better chance.

Its not a moral victory.it's the first time we've seen this team play till the end.celebrate the fight the team showed today.i wanted a win as bad as anybody but i'm proud of these guys and the way they played today.

After the past few seasons I'll take a moral victory. Previous teams would have given up and/or went head case and made stupid decisions all the way through. Worley played smart, the running game executed, and the D hung in there. All I hear is UGA third string. Richt's third string is still top 5 recruiting class and our guys still came back down 14 at the half and took the lead going into the last minute of the game. Yes, living near Athens I wanted this win but after the mentality of the team over the past few years I will take this and bank it.

Gurlly and Morrison were freshman last year and they killed so, yeah, UGA's 3rd string frosh RB is still a threat. Their offense starts with Murry anyway and he played the whole game. Any other UGA back ups played because we played so physical we knocked their starters out.

Agreed. But you can still take positives from a loss. You can still feel encouraged.
