But, Im really disappointed with our basketball recruiting class. I guess I had hoped for a bigger splash.

Give it time..give it time....Although it will always be rough with the Duke's, UNC's, and Indiana's around...

I know it sounds like Im ungrateful considering how far we've come, but I really wanted the momentum to continue.

Really disappointed? Philip and Renaldo both have a big upside. Besides, we could still add a very nice guard prospect during the spring signing period (i.e., Ramar Smith and Cameron Tatum).

I have more faith that Pearl can develope talent than I do with Fulmer, right now.

Give Pearl a chance and relax.

And there we have it, a Fulmer reference in a thread that had absoluetly ZERO to do with football. Very nice...

Wow! what about Wake Forest landing the #1 class!
even when their coach passes away. i know my grandad is happy, he played football there..

but I really feel that missing out on EW isnt a big deal, because were going to get Leslie who mite be better in 2009

our class is very good. we only had four scholarships to give and will prob only use one more on a guard. I'm more than impressed with this class.

No one really was impressed with the last class either and they seem to both be quality players. I hear Jurick is a beast though

No doubt. Both Tatum and Williams are going to be solid players for us THIS year. And don't forget that Ramar Smith was a late pickup -- I'd never heard of him until just before he committed.

While I don't think Pearl walks on water and can turn a turd into a sharpshooter, I feel confident he has the bases covered and will deliver a quality player to fill our needs.

dude, you're a little bit of a stalker aren't you. You just follow me around on this board with your little comments. If you see my name attached to a thread, just dont read it. I completely disagree with everything you say, but I dont seek out your posts just to be contentious.

Nope I just like to point out that every single time you post there is some pessimistic quality to it.

Sidenote: Why in the hell would I care if someone that I don't even know from the homeless guy on Windy Hill road agrees with me?

I have seen him play a ton of times. He just needs to get his offense down better. He is a beast on the boards and defense, but seems to fear going up strong with the ball until he gets pissed off...then watch out. I'm actually going to see him play tonight..

In no way am I saying that Woolridge and Jurick are not quality players. I wanted a McDonald's AA on the roster.
