Clausen lasted one year in the pros (preseason) then went to MSU. CJ Leak went straight to UF. Chris Leak went to UF after 2 years.

Heck, Kiffin jumped straight to coaching after his playing time. I think it is much more common since the game has revolutionized from traditional defense/offense.
