I propose a moratorium on posters challenging each other's fan status or calling each other Trolls.

Just stop it. It doesn't matter whether you stand up or sit down all game, which coach you love/hate, whether you love/hate the black jerseys, go to games or watch at home, etc.

As long as the Vols are your team you are a fan. I ask you for just this year to put a stop to the "you're not a real fan" and "You're a Troll" attacks.

I have had the OP on ignore for a while now. I don't even have to see what he posted to know it is full of ignorance.

Truth be told it was a typo when entering my user name.

It was supposed to be The Tall Guy, but stuff happens...and I lived in Tennessee and graduated from UTK in 2000.

I agree with the OP. That "you're not a real fan" silliness needs to end. It seems to always come out when people have no logic or reason to back them up. If you care enough about a team coming off 3 straight losing seasons to come here and post about them, then I'd say you're a true fan.

Yes I agree. Seems like you can't give opinions on here anymore without people calling you troll, etc..I do love my Vols but have reserved the right to be patient after the last 2 disaster coaching hires.

I think we must define the words Fan and Troll

Fan - 1. enthusiastic admirer; an enthusiastic admirer of a celebrity or public performer
2.Same as Fanatic

Troll - 1. A mythical, cave-dwelling being depicted in folklore as either a giant or a dwarf, typically having a very ugly appearance.

I can see how Troll fits a lot of Fans around here
