..The Red Sox are blasted in the first round. Where I don't have to hear about any baseball team from the Northeast again this season.

Of course, until the season's over and ESPN gives the "State of the Yankees" 10 minute Sports Center special.

Me, being a Brave fan and no horse in this *&^%$ing race, I have adopted the Tampa Bay Rays as my squad.

Hop on the bandwagon, sir.

I'm a sox fan, and if they are out i'm not sure who i want to win... It'll be some dang good baseball though and i'm excited for it.

Just saw where Beckett has been pushed back to Game 3 of the ALDS. That could help your cause, Biz.

No arm is more proven in the postseasen than Beckett. If he's on your team you want him in as many games as possible.

Angels dominated the Red Sox throughout the year (8-1).

It'll be no different in the postseason.

Cubs to the house and in a few years they can take over the BoSox position as lovable losers turned champs turned pricks.

I'm already excited about the baseball playoffs because TBS has brought Harold Reynolds on board. So he likes to hug people, big deal. ESPN never should have fired him

I'll take John Smoltz. Unless of course you are talking about this postseason.

That does worry me.
But the post season can be different.

If Lester or Dice k wins (or potentially both) with Beckett on the hill in game three, i'll be very excited.

Not a prediction, because y'alls starters are just as capable of shoving it as ours.

AS a Dodgers fan we welcome anyone that would like to pull for them. If you don't like the Yankees or Red Sox than they are your team. I don't think the Yankees or Red Sox want to see Torre or Manny when with the Dodgers. I love it. I know we have that old jerk Jeff Kent but he sits on the bench so please pull for the Dodgers. :)

GO DODGERS!!!

Well, I hope my newly adopted Rays blast the Red Sox.

615, I do hope the Dodgers win because I really can't stand the Phillies and I want the Yankees to feel as much pain as possible with Joe Torre going to the World Series.

I haven't decided which one would look bad upon the Yankees yet. The Rays winning the whole thing, or the Dodgers blasting the Red Sox in 4 games in the WS. I really don't hold back much on the Yankees. I hate the organization, I hate the owner(s), I hate the whole Yankee way.

Sandy Koufax is my favorite player ever, even though I never saw him. Pretty much inherited that from my dad. Have Maddux beside him now, or in a very close second. That makes me a quasi-Dodger fan.

my dads two favorite teams are the white sox and dodgers. my favorite pitcher on the dodgers growing up was hershiser. that explains my dodgers allegiance.

Bulldog. Orel was an intense dude. I loved watching him pitch back when I was young. The best was the 95 Cleveland v. Atlanta World Series when Hershiser and Maddux started Game 1 & 5. Man, that was my hay-day for baseball. I didn't miss an inning of the Braves run that year and didn't miss many TBS games either.

the staff with Maddux, Smoltz, Glavine and Avery made me watch baseball again.
