I like the picks, but there is no way the Titans take wright. He has had some off the field issues and the last thing they are going to do is gamble on another one weeks removed from a Pacman suspension.on another board we had 32 people be the GMs of all the teams and I was the titans and I picked...
1st Round: Robert Meachem/WR/Tennessee
2nd Round: Eric Wright/CB/UNLV
3rd Round: LaMarr Woodley/DE/Michigan
I'd be happen if the Titans did this on Saturday. thoughts?
I agree. Get a DE or DB in the first. Unless you can get a sure thing like Calvin Johnson(who will be LONG gone) I don't like taking a WR.....you can always find a good one in round 2 or 3. You know VY will be pushing for a weapon in the first but I'm sure his wishes have no bearing.I don't think the Titans need to go with a wide receiver in the first round. They need to work on the defensive side of the ball. They were the worst last year and that was with Pacman. If the Titans did go with a wide receiver I think it would Be Dwayne Jarret.

Figurs is one dimensional, but may be worth a pick if he is available late enough. Devin Hester is one dimensional as well. You think the Bears regret wasting a pick on him? Taking him later would free up the first round pick to go after a Carriker, Moss, Nelson, or Houston. Of course, you can't bank on him being available.
I think Ginn is going to be one dimensional at the NFL level. I just don't see him as a number 1 WR in the NFL. I think he is going to give you a good return game and be a 2 or 3 WR. I really don't want to see a WR taken in the first as deep as this group is.Figurs is one dimensional though. Teddy Ginn if he's available. If not take someone like a Carriker or Jarvis Moss. Or maybe a Reggie Nelson or Chris Houston.

I don't see too much in Ginn. I would rather have Meachem to be honest.
Agree and agree. I'm cringing at the thought of the Titans taking Ginn. I'm hoping he's off the board by the time the Titans select...Maybe Meachem early and Figurs later if available. Ginn won't contribute this year as a WR and I personally think he is overrated.
I would think Moss would still be there. Adams, Carriker and Anderson will go before him and I don't see 4 DEs taken before 19. He would be nice, or I would take Nelson or Houston as you mentioned earlier. How far has Michael Bush slipped? He could be a steal as a 2nd or 3rd rounder.I said on another thread that Davis, Hill, Clowney, Stuckey or possibly Steve Smith could be available in the 2nd round.
I'd like to see a CB or safety myself, unless a Jarvis Moss is hanging around at the 19th spot.

From what I understand, he won't be ready to play when the season starts. Teams expect running backs selected in the top rounds to contribute immediately.
