This was a horrible and unacceptable loss. We have already slipped out of the top 10 in recruiting. A loss like this has the potential to hurt recruiting. After this beat down and the UGA beat down, I hope recruits don’t start looking elsewhere.

I see you have joined the village idiots
I wish people like you would get banned for name calling like this.

There’s no way getting dominated by MISSOURI doesn’t affect recruiting. It definitely will. The recruits who thought we were on the verge of a championship are asking themselves right now what tf they just saw.

You have too, if they thought we were on the verge of a championship then they were sorely mistaken. Recruits commit to schools like UT for playing time and NIL money, they go to Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, and Clemson for championships

with NIL, less so. Starting job (other guy sucks) and give me money. Still, really bad look at how bad the team was outcoached. It isn't like it was a hard fought battle where the breaks just didn't happen. Missouri was playing Madden wile UT was playing Tecmo Bowl.

I mean if anything, billboards from the NIL collective should be out posting fat money offers for recruits and guys in the portal that play in the secondary 😂😂😂

This loss could certainly have a negative effect on recruiting. We were dominated defensively. We lacked discipline with the penalties. And I hate to admit it, but we looked like sore losers at the end of the game. It is what it is.

But at the end of the day, Huepel has shown the ability to take a team with scholarship reductions and limited talent, to be 11-2. High end recruits are nice, but a top end playcaller is better and can cover alot of weaknesses. Also, we still have a 100k full stadium, alot of NIL money, and a state of the art program. Tennessee will at minimum be able to field a roster that Huepel can win with.

Missouri just gave recruits a reason to pick them over us like the 5-star's in their state.

I think it impacts some head to head recruiting though the ones we wanted from their state have committed to places. It reminds me of the receiver Mazeo Bennett from last year after the South Carolina loss.

For the most part, we recruit different caliber of players than they do. Aside from Williams Nwaneri, their class of 2024 is terrible. And they only landed Nwaneri due to an NIL.

There is always chicken little speculation concerning how recruits are going to de-commit after every loss. It seldom plays out that way. Fortunately, recruits aren't as reactionary as this forum tends to be.

Do you think I was talking about the whole class? I'm talking about a few guys we hoped to flip. We just got lambasted.

Like who? Nwaneri isn't flipping. He has a fat NIL, that we declined to match. I don't think they have anyone else we even want.
