He gets cold in games that aren't as big. Chris will have to become more solid to get the MVP vote. Don't get me wrong, he was AMAZING tonight... but he was actually a better shooter LAST year.

I would have to look back but I doubt he was a better shooter last year. He may have shot more. I think he took more shots last year when he was not on.

Chris was amazing tonight. That's all that matters right now. He played big tonight on the road.

Theres no doubt he is the best pure shooter we have had at UT since Allan Houston. The only two in my opinion that could even beat him out right now are Brewer from Ark. and Brewer from Florida.

Said this in the game thread, but I think it'll get lost in there :D

He's definitely stepped up in the big games in conference play, that has to count for something. If he can repeat this performance in Gainesville and maintain his average everywhere else, he has a shot at player of the year in the SEC.

He's down a tad, 46% last year and 43% going into this game. I think he has been focused on more this year by opposing defenses.

His shooting had dropped off pretty bad after the Florida game... but look out SEC, He's BAAAAAAAACK!

going into tonight... 63 of 152, so now he is 70 of 162... he WAS 41%, and is NOW 43%... Freaky? is that right?

No joke, and he's made quite a few on the recruiting trail lately, from the way UK is playing...

He was just straight up nasty tonight. Kentucky would get close and then the crowd would go AHHHHHHHH....

It often goes to whoever is leading the league in scoring. I'm not sure where he stands there.

He ranks fourth in the SEC with 15.7 points per game and is third in the league with 2.26 steals per game.

Going into tonight... Brewer from Ark. Chris and CJ were TIED for 4th.

I suppose it is. I think tonight was already included in the stats I looked at.

Either way, he's comming up bigger in games than he did last year. His drive is better... and he plays better D, especially getting steals.

Then again, if he shoots like he did tonight, the boy will be over 50% pretty quick.
