I don't think we were serious about it. I still think it was a joke that went over everyone's head. However, Admin was stupid to post it.
Regardless it's raised over $150K. They should donate every dime to a local E. Tennessee charity. It's very embarrassing to me as an Alum and a lifelong Vol Fan.

I love it It Tennessee doing Tennessee things. It's Tennessee swag everybody else is so serious and like OMG look at Tennessee fans over there and we are over here laughing and having a great time. 150K and I can almost promise you everybody who paid money did with a huge cocky smile. We like the rich man who goes to court and get sued for 100k and then comes out of the court room waving at the cameras lol.

Isn’t he supposed to be in jail?

He apparently raised his bail money by begging his slobbering slackjawed YouTube followers. It's ironic, because those dollars will go toward making the world a dumber place and those donated to UT will have the exact opposite effect.

They're just fundraising after a big win. The goalposts thing was clever marketing.
“Clever marketing” doesn’t make you look like this. I’ll say White and the athletic dept have knocked it out of the park on about everything, this is the one that I thought was sort of dumb. They can spin it though.

I'll say it could've been worded better but it got peoples' attention

I know what is next. Someone can tell that fool that we are coming to Athens to whip some Dawgs azz. He is upset because the Dawg fans couldn't raise enough money to get a dog out of the dog pound.

I bet none of the people involved in taking the goal posts down gave any money
That is perfectly fine. They did their part and watching them do it on National TV (since I could not be at the game) was one of the best things I have seen in my life. I am happy to contribute to the cost of replacement and the F you SEC fine.

No one actually thinks our AD can't afford goal posts, and realizes that Danny White is just trying to opportunistically raise some money.

But he acts like it wasn't a light hearted jest by White. We all know better.

What an f-tard
