100 percent this! I am not a huge "well history says so", but I think we are overlooked a lot. I watch every single game of course, but watching this Kentucky game in Neyland gave me a new perspective. This defense flows so well and gets things done. The defense is going to be the catalyst as to where we finish this season. The defense does give up some plays, but they bare down when it counts and they force mistakes.

Almost nobody is talking about us nationally, including people who normally blow smoke at our fanbase for clicks (*cough* Josh Pate). It’s taking forever but I feel like this offense is like a roller coaster train perched at the first big drop, just teetering on the edge. A few more inches forward and that thing’s going to be full speed. Then it’s look out, college football.

And as I pointed out in another thread that I think most people missed about whether we're playoff caliber, all previous four won the national title who did this.

Difference was none of them had a freshman QB and only one had a first year starter (McCarron in '11).

It does feel like we're a pot of water about to boil and when it happens, it's going to be Tennessee sitting at the top. I am not really worried about the last 3 games at all. I feel like our defense is really that good and like you said, our offense is about to hit and when it happens, it is going to be glorious. I seriously believe that Beck can't throw 2 or more picks like he has against our defense and Georgia getting away with it like they have the past few weeks.

💯 if our offense continues to get a tiny smidge better over the next two weeks and Beck doesn’t clean up the turnovers, UGA is cooked in that one. They got a tough test this week too.

Expect the penalty calls to go UGAs way.

I think something that has gone unsaid thus far is this staff is MAKING the half time adjustments needed to win games. How many years have we been desparate to see that?
Amen brother. Agree 100%. Spurrier and Saban always seemed to adjust before the half ended, but we struggled to be better after halftime. Congrats to this staff as well as mental intelligence of our players to adjust quickly and make changes. We have always been slow to do this in the past. Big difference this year. I just wish we didn’t hand off to RB every single time after a good gain on a running play that picks up first down. We need to realize other teams know what we are going to do. We are not catching them by surprise. Throw the ball, do a shuttle pass, QB draw play. Do something different than run it up the gut and make it 2nd and 11!
