and it was an absolute joy. they were bragging so much about how they had "shut down their stud receiver" (meachem) in the first half. lumpkin was taking to the tennessee O-line.

in the last 5 minutes, munson was wiping the tears. lauren smith, the sideline reporter, reportedly was on oxygen and had to be removed from the field on a stretcher.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's definitely a "homer" type announcer. I actually can remember when he was Vandy's play by play announcer. Back when they had Clyde Lee playing BB.

Wow....you are old:neener2: Congrats for living so long, heh, hope I get there one day.

Larry is a die hard Ga fan, what do y'all expect.

Regardless, the Vols played a great game, and Ainge was excellent. Congrats

another thing was that the pregame was all about quentin moses and johnson and how they were going to make ainge's life miserable. their names weren't called all night.

the main thing about him is that he never gives the opposing team credit for making a big play. whenever something bad happens to georgia, it's always because georgia screwed up, not because the other team is outplaying georgia. absolutely no credit to wardlow on the punt block for his cut back inside...it was a "missed block."

he mentioned joe t's 2 picks over and over and over and over again about how that killed georgia. i guess it did, but georgia's d still had chances to stop us and didn't. he was audibly upset at the end of the game and i LOVED it. they had us hurting big 5 out of the last 6 years...today the tables were turned mr. munson.

Take away 3 plays tonight.....2 returns and that "fortunate" catch behind the defender in the first half and what do you have? 12 points.

i do have to say though...he was very complimentary of wilhoit's kickoffs.

but he sure did run ainge's height into the ground. he always called ainge "big ainge" or "6'6'' ainge." i was surprised he didn't call that an unfair advantage

well they weren't really lucky...they made those 2 kick returns happen. wade's blown coverage was a bit lucky for georgia and should have never happened. kick coverages were an absolute disaster tonight but we made some things happen in special teams ourselves...obviously the punt block and subsequent TD but coker also had some nice punt returns.

Letting those two kick returns come back for TDs was unacceptable but we did stuff a couple of kickoff returns inside the 10 that sorta tempered that action!!! :vava:

thats one of the things about having a homer announcer, you get to watch them writhe in pain when the game goes the other way.

Payback is SWEET!

Up to now I had a few lingering doubts about the offense and whether the could be as productive against an SEC caliber defense but I am now a believer.

The only thing that could make me happier at the moment is an airplane ticket to somewhere else.
