Obama said that everyday that the stimulus wasn't passed and signed by him that thousands of americans lost jobs(complete b.s.). anyways the bill was put on his desk fri, and he didn't sign it til yesterday. I guess he wasn't really concerned about americans losing their jobs, instead he rather wait til he cld have the spot light on him.

Further, it creates a scenario where he can claim success regardless of outcome.

Say we have a net job loss for the next 2 years - his response is we would have lost 3 million more without the plan!

It's impossible to accurately count the real job loss that would have occurred without the plan so who can say it didn't work?

he also said the "stimulus" bill would create "countless" jobs in the green energy sector.

now that David Axelrod and that Plouff guy aren't managing everything Obama says, he's turned into a pretty pathetic liar. During the campaign, his lies were as slick as Clinton's, now they're just typical Chicago politics.

This is not a lie - it won't be possible to count the jobs created in the green energy sector so by definition they are "countless".

Every one of the idiots who voted for this bill should be tarred and feathered. Luckily, most of the Republicans didn't vote for it. The Dems are going to get their collective ass kicked in 2010.

speaking only for myself, I plan to provide 4 to 8 years of equal time. I want Obama to fail in every aspect of his Presidency (save for the war he's preparing to escalate in Afghanistan, I'll support both the mission and the troops) and I don't plan on giving him credit for a damn thing.

Is that petty? sure, but it's going to be fun.

Again, you are confusing me with someone of your ilk. I dont' play sides. I play for America. I am starting to doubt how much of a patriot you really are now. I know you were in the military, but obviously, it didn't have an effect on you. YOu hope Obama fails, well, the fallout will be much worse than the tragedy on 9/11. So there you go, Mr Army, or whatever armed services you served under, glad we have your support.

Again, this your side and my side crap needs to stop. I promise you, pard, if you are an American, I am on your side.

so what you're saying is that dissent, which was once the highest form of patriotism, is now an indicator of something subversive and counter to the good of the country.
