But it looks like Mikey will miss another race, Jarrett will use another champions provisional, Mayfield, Vickers, and Reutimann are cutting it close, only 2 Toymotors locked in, Allemindinger and Blaney (at 7:48EST).

It doesnt make sense how they are doing so poorly, it isnt a vastly different powerplant from the truck engines that dominate.

As usual Toyota sucks -AGAIN!:birgits_giggle:
I hate to say it, but here goes. Toyota isn't competitive in the Cup Series. They are only competitive in the Truck Series.:eek:k:
Ford is "found on road dead" not "first on race day." Chevy is leading the pack!:dance2:
Who has won the most races over the past 3-4 years?
Mikey can hang it up and so should DJ.

part of the problem with Toyota in none of them are in the garaunteed 35. the way NASCAR has it now makes it hard for any new team to qualify. and because they weren't in the top 35 to begin with, it makes it even harder to get into now.

the other part of the problem is they are inconsistant, which is to be expected of a new team/car.

they obviously have some work to do.

Time-wise, they would have not made it anyhow. and none of then will be in the top 35 next season to start either, due to the number of missed races, DJ has only 3 past champ passes left...the rest are bums

Jarrett was my favorite driver, and i stuck by him, but once he went Japanese i disliked him for the insult he basically pulled on the American Worker, the man who drove the Quality Care Ford going to a foreign make, all because Toyota knew they'd need his Past Champions Provisional, so F U DJ, you were my favorite driver since the day Davey died, but you deserve the obscurity you're building for turning your back on America, have fun in the Napa ads

DJ will be ok as long as he can get it in the top 35 of points after the first 5 or 6 races... which shouldn't be too difficult by riding around half-throttle, which will probably result in a top 20/15 finish tomorrow.

most Toyotas are made in America, you do know this right? i believe there is even a plant being built/already built here in Tennessee.

i've never been a fan of Dale Jarret anyway, but i seriously doubt he is responsible for the american worker 'losing' his job.
