I am no homer but when we called that time out late in the game right during a play in which we scored a basket and it wiped the points off I knew then we were lacking from the sidelines. Also someone needs to teach the Tennessee coaches how to manage the time clock late in the game.:loco:

i think he was calling that time out well before that random play even developed. That's half the reason he was so open. Tony was yelling at the refs for the TO and the other team slacked off...

I looked through some of our stats last night, and they were surprisingly average. The bottom line is we didn't hit shots when we needed to, and then we gave up some easy baskets not defending the pick and roll.

i think we were about even with florida for things like TOs, FG and FT %s.

However, we went 2-7 from the floor in OT.

I think Florida hit more 3's. Man when Pardons and Boynton were open, swoosh

I don't care who the coach is at the time. Pearl, Jones, Shay...someone needs to put a foot in their a**es and get them to play defense.

Especially when we were nearing the end of regulation, I thought we just dribbled too much of the clock away before putting up a bad shot. And, I'm not talking about taking a shot we missed, but shots when the clock was about to expire and we heaved one at the basket. We continued that pattern in the OT. When you are having trouble getting a good look, you can't simply let Goins dribble the clock away out front like we have a 10 point lead.

I thought, and hoped, this thread was going to be about how awkward Tony Jones is in an interview. I cringe the whole time.
