Strickland has said the state faces a $7 billion budget shortfall in the next two-year budget which starts on July 1. The governor is expected to release his budget proposal later this month or early in February.

On a brighter note, the Governor, Lt. Governor and the Mayors of Cleveland, Columbus, Toledo, Dayton and Cincinnati took their raises.

Well the Mayor of Columbus, Mr. Coleman, told fire and police to take a pay cut and not have raises for a few years.

The police said no and do you know what he did?

He told the Columbus Cadet Class for their police deparment that they would not be hired. When you do think he did this?

A week before graduation.
