I know we have a lot of military posters around the world that catch the VOLS games - well I will be in London on the 16th and was wondering if anyone out there could help me try and find a place to see some of the game. Don't laugh I am serious.

I remember someone who posted here on the Nation saying that there was a sports pub in London that stayed open reallly late at night in order to show American sports events.
The name? Sorry, I've slept since then....

The Sports Cafe is where we went. It is SUPER crowded with Americans trying to watch football and baseball. Check out this site, you may find something you're looking for:

I will be there from the 14th to the 21st of September....I am not sure what will happen for you but I ill be missing the Florida game and it is an 8pm CST start plus 5 hours would make that at 1 am start time ...plus 3 hours would mean 4 am and that ain't gonna happen - Maybe the bama game will be at 430 for you and then you could catch it. I looked up the Sports Cafe that RTS mentioned and it looks pretty nice but UT/UF isn't on their schedule - I am sure that I could find a place but at that hour on my second day there I will be sleeping.

haha, man all the games are like that for me, and I work shift work so I have to work the weekends some times, I think we are an hour ahead of London here. I guess for one weekend you can let it slide. Enjoy London, just be prepared, the pound is crazy right now

This will be my 2nd time in London so I am not too worried about anything ...except for that 2:1 exchange rate....that sucks. As bad as this might sound I was kind of hoping that the terror plot would have drug down the pound but it actually had an adverse effect.

yeah tell me about it. If you get a chance to Ireland, they speak English and they use the Euro, which isn't AS bad.

And they have pub crawls, you sign up and you ride a bus around the center city of Dublin going to 20 different bars, at each bar they make you a drink, if you can finish a drink/shooter/beer at all the bars you get a tshirt

I have one. :)
