I say go on permanent holiday. I'd like them to go to the old model where congress met for only like 2 weeks out of the year.

In Florida they have committee meetings for a week or so every month for about 4 months leading up to the session, and that's about 6-7 weeks long. Seems to work well.

Can Obama go on vacation? Shouldn't he be working behind the scenes (like every other president has) to line up votes for his proposals?

I'm beginning to agree with the majority of the libertarians on this board. Republicans are a bunch of liars. They said they would vote no on any tax increases, but apparently that only applies to people making a lot of money. Pathetic.

No one ever mentions the real problem.

The dhimirat controled senate has failed to pass a budget for three years running.

I don't know for sure but think this is unprecedented in American history.

At any rate if republicans attach Keystone pipeline wording to the bill, Barry says he will veto it.

He claims extending unemployment benefits will create more jobs that building the pipeline.

HUH?? Some statements make you scratch your head, others make you want to bang your head against the wall.

Obama's statement reminds me of Pelosi saying we get a $1.79 return on every $1.00 we spend on food stamps.

At that rate why hasn't the national debt been erased by now, both of them would flunk short bus math class.

BTW, what happened to ACLG's self imposed ban?

This must be the shortest one yet.
