I still don't think Tennessee has played its best game

On either end. We've played some fantastic defense and we've had some lights out shooting games, but we haven't seen a game in which Dalton, JJJ, Santi, Tobe, ZZ, Gainey, Jamai, and Aidoo were all shooting like they're capable at the same time. It's usually some combination of those guys are on and some combination are off. I'm not suggesting that we should ever see a game in which all of those are absolutely on fire offensively, but we could see some games in which all or most of them are good offensively. Because all are good when they're on their normal game.

Same on the defensive end. I'm hoping we see it all come together for a few games in a row in the NCAAT.

Even with Dalton typically creating human highlight clips each game, what impresses me most is the TEAM effort each game. Never know which of the (other) starters or bench players that will be stepping up but, they do.

Truly hope we have a few more excellent team games ahead of us. GBO

You are correct. There is no quit in this team.

So true. Nothing better than winning the SEC regular season championship and still have a ceiling to achieve with this group. Defensively I think we will always be stout and know what our biggest obstacles will be: Teams with legit big offensive post players. We can mitigate that if we take care of defensive rebounding and keep our turnovers low. Offensively we can become overly reliant on Knecht and while he is a stud, it would be better to have more balanced scoring because come NCAA tournament time, no matter how good our defense is, there are alot of good teams who can beat us. Ideally our starters will consistently get 60 pts per game and our bench gives us 20. We consistently get to 80+ in the tournament than we can beat anyone and shouldn't be in jeopardy of an early out in the first 2 rounds.

If we get a # 1 seed....who would you want in Sweet 16? San Diego State, Illinois, Baylor? You would think the selection committee wouldn't put another SEC team as a 4 seed in our half of the draw.

Aidoo left 8-10 points on the floor vc SC. DK could have easily had 30+ with a couple misses he makes. If they all have their best game together, pity the team they are playing. As it is they are amazing; and that relentless defense is the reason.
