Would've been extremely nice to land him, but if you'd told me the University of Tennessee had just landed three players within the Top 63 Rivals prospects in basketball a few years ago I would've laughed uncontrollably.

Why? Chism, Ramar, and Crews, i believe were rated that high.

Ramar- 20 Duke- 26 Chism- 34

I am not disappointed at what we have. Would Shelby have reinforced it? sure.. but we still have a great class coming in. With all the one and done players, Kentucky is going to hit a situation soon that hurts... no depth.

Would it have nice to land Shelby? Obviously yes. Do we need him? IMO no we don't. We still had a top 10 class, plus we have a lot of returning talent. Kentucky will likely be breaking in 4 freshman in the starting line up....I think we'll do ok.

Selby wasnt going to make or break Tns class, it would of been nice to have him but we dont and sure not going to get sick over it.Im more pleased that we got Golden than upset because we didnt get Selby.

I may like UNC basketball as well as Tennessee basketball, but this post has neither to do with that. I've seen numerous tapes of both players and watched the Mcdonald's All-American game and other games, and you cannot convince me Josh Selby is better than Harrison Barnes. Selby is a very good player don't get me wrong, I just don't think he is better than him at this point.
