Based on what I saw at the practice. North and Croom seemed to get the lion's share of action at WR. It will probably be Croom, North and Pig as the starting 3.

Sutton is as good a CB, from what I saw, as any on the team. He had two consecutive pass breakups in the endzone, that would have otherwise been touchdowns, if he wasn't on the receiver like a blanket.

With Lane apparently among the injured (included Paul Harris), Tom Smith got plenty of touches and he looks like he will be a VERY good fit in CBJ's system. I was pretty impressed. Don't surprised if he beats out Hill for the #3 RB spot.

He came off the injured list recently, from what I understand, and he broke a long run at the indoor scrimmage last week, too. Don't sleep on the kid. He's run in this type of offense in HS, and looked pretty comfortable in it last night.

Any news/updates on Paul Harris? Haven't heard much about him since camp started.
He was among the walking wounded, on the sideline. I wish he would get healthy and catch fire. If he plays well enough to be a starter, that is 3 big WR's we can leverage against smaller DB's

Nevermind Harris, what happened to Lane??? He was having an awesome camp! Any details on his injury? Good Lord, with all the injuries piling up, fall camp cannot end fast enough!

What happened to Hill? Thought he was going to surprise everyone this year? Is he hurt?

Roger that. With all the excitement around North, He gets overlooked but he certainly fits the mold.

Thanks for the info.

Man I hope so. at 5'11" 220lb, seems like he should be running through people.

What type of injury does Harris have?

I think it's an ankle injury. As for Tom Smith...seems the writer agreed with me about him:

"Redshirt sophomore running back Tom Smith notched some productive runs with second-team reps in Lane’s absence.

“He has been sitting back there for three years waiting for the opportunity,” offensive tackle Antonio Richardson said. “He got some opportunities today and did really well.”

Not to mention that Smith is faster than Hill. If I remember correctly, Smith got dinged by Dooley as being fumble prone and his opps were limited. Be a good year for TS to beast out.
