Well, Pearl was quoted saying he wanted tough guys to play ball for him. Do we have any tough guys or will we have to bring in a whole new team? :dunno:

I just hope everyone understands that unless it is Bobby Knight, it is going to take two or three years at least to get things going really well.

For some reason, I have been conditioned to have this sorta queasy feeling about the basketball program.

Gotta hope that whoever comes in can get things going.

UT, Mississippi State and Bama are his three. He might not even qualify so it may not even matter at this point.

Oh I didn't know that qualifying was a problem with him. Still, I would hate to lose him to Bama.

Listen UT has been playing the same game for a long time. I mean how many of these coaches have you ever heard of before this season. We are a strong division 1 school, we have one of the largest arenas in the country, so we need to have a mens team that can match that. The powers that be need to stop screwing around and buy a coach that we know can do the job, instead of taking a shot in the dark on some screwball caoch from who cares University. To me Bob Knight is the only pick that I have heard of that can do the job. I think we need to buy him.

They want to get it done as soon as possible. I would say it will be announced early next week before Wednesday.
