I think you are giving Hamilton way to much credit/blame..

I am by no means in "the know" nor do I want to pretend to be, but I really think a lot of people on here give Hamilton way to much credit and/or blame... Do you really think he does the hiring and firing? Really? I think he may make suggestions, but I don't personally think he makes any of the final decisions.... A perfect example would be Kitten.... I was my understanding that Lame had to play golf and smooze up to Haslam before ADMH could even start to get serious about hiring him (and Haslam had to agree to it)... I am by no means a ADMH fan (far from it), but I honestly do not think he has anywhere near the power that a lot of people on here claim he does... JMO & of course I could be wrong though... :loco:

Hamilton's not responsible for this. The entire UT administration was in an unenviable position.

Whoever smoozed whom, one fact remains: the only successful hire during MH's tenure has been, ironically, Bruce Pearl (the jury is still out on CDD). The same cast of characters will be in charge of the next basketball hire. Sigh.

That is true.. I just don't think ADMH makes the final decision, but I do agree with post 100%
