Not really surprised to see Bielema already on the hot seat at #5... but Saban is #14???

I doubt his seat is even mildly lukewarm.

At 7.3 million. It's warm to justify the cost now. No doubt he is worth that. He is the best college coach right now and has won. But at that cost he better bring home the national championship every year or people may start burning that seat.

They're seeking page-views. There is no way they actually think that Saban's job status is even remotely in question.

If we some how find a way to win October 4, Muschamp is gone for sure.

If by some miracle the Cats pull it off a month before then, you won't need to bother.

Won't happen. 27 straight times is a hard streak to break.

Streaks are made to be broken eventually.

Mark Richt is at 47. I know he has a great record, but I think the UGa fans want a championship. He is like Phil Michelson before he won a major. Nice fella, but can't win the big one. I would put him in the top 10.

Saban, upon hearing that he was 14th on the coaches hot seat, said "it's a process. You see, the seat gets to be a higher temperature than your outer surroundings thus hot seat. I prefer to call it a rest station that is not optimal in comfort." Then said, " Hey Kiffin, fetch my martini and slippers, and if your a good boy, I'll let you stay up til 11"

Mark Richt is as safe as it gets.

Problem is hiding how he spreads all that around to recruits.

I think he is more like Sergio Garcia. Never won a major, but sometimes gets close. When he does get close, it all self implodes somehow.

So let me get this straight, Saban is #14, Petrino is on the hot seat before even coaching a single game at Louisville and Richt is at #47. Whomever made this list is obviously on drugs or severely mentally challenged.

It should be right. The Stewie clone did it, you know, from Family Guy.

LMAO at Weiss being #3 at Kansas! How they hell do you get fired from Kansas as a football coach?

It hasn't changed much (if at all) since bowl games. Saban lost final 2 games of the season (Auburn, Oklahoma).

If the end of last season is the determining factor of the "hot seat", what is Richt doing in the high 40s?

Yeah, Richt is definitely on the hot seat. Nick Satan is no where near the hot seat. I could see putting him on the high end of the "safe for now" category merely based on the fact that he coaches at Alabama and any coach at Alabama is a couple of bad seasons away from being on the hot seat. I would switch Richt and Satan so that Richt is # 14 on the list and Satan is # 47.
