Rush Limbaugh Suggests 'Dark Knight Rises' Villain 'Bane' A Deliberate Romney Reference

RUSH: Have you heard this new movie, the Batman movie, what is it, The Dark Knight Lights Up or whatever the name is. That's right, Dark Knight Rises. Lights Up, same thing. Do you know the name of the villain in this movie? Bane. The villain in The Dark Knight Rises is named Bane, B-a-n-e. What is the name of the venture capital firm that Romney ran and around which there's now this make-believe controversy? Bain. The movie has been in the works for a long time. The release date's been known, summer 2012 for a long time. Do you think that it is accidental that the name of the really vicious fire breathing four eyed whatever it is villain in this movie is named Bane?

It goes even deeper than that. Mr Drummond from Different Strokes . . . played by Conrad BAIN. They've been stacking the deck against Romney since the late 70s.

And worse yet... was watching the Braves game last night and they kept talking about one of the fielders making an error, and the reason they recorded it as an error was because the ball touched his "mitt".

Complete left wing conspiracy.

I can't tell if he is being completely sarcastic but if not Rush has all the facts straight about the movie. Four eyed villian and all.

Bain is also white and breaks the spine of a man "dressed" in all black. Liberal Hollywood trying to paint Romney as the racist elite suppressing African Americans.

Not to show my geekdom, but Bane was created a long time ago in the comics. Plus he was in one of the movies from the Keaton/Kilmer/Clooney Batman era. Rush should do his research(yeah, I know, Rush actually researching something, haha) and stop twisting reality to fit his agenda. Is it me, or has he gotten even more radical since he stopped snorting the oxy?

Why should he research? He isn't attempting to be factually accurate. His goal is to make money.

He does this very well. Because most of his listeners are too lazy to actually check the "facts" he presents. His audience also loves a good political conversation as much as they love their entertainment.

Rush provides both at the same time.

I have read none of thus thread. I saw Rush Limbaugh. That was enough to tell me that the theory was beyond awful. Whatever it was.

That man is a scourge on intellectual thought of any kind. He has no reasoning skills. He cares nothing about facts.

I can see Rush laughing at all the hardcore leftist sites posting his "Bane" comments and honestly thinking he's serious.
