He is genuinely a good guy & U know he was brought up right. Not many guys like him & I hope he does well. In a way he's like Crompton with people always doubting him but he shrugs it off & keeps doing what he has to do to prove folks wrong.

I fully agree. I know he was a Gator but outside of when he was on the field I always rooted for him. His charity work, attitude, and willingness to do everything his best is something I admire. The NFL needs more athletes like him rather than the complete divas many have become. I fully enjoyed seeing Jimmy Clausen with his smug entitled attitude slip to 48 and for once seeing the good guy, Tebow, finish ahead. Now I still say the Broncos gave up way too much and that Tebow isn't a 1st round talent in my eyes but if anyone will prove me and everyone else wrong it'll be Tebow.

He seems so happy and thankful to be where he is and that is refreshing. I can't help but to wish him all the success in the world in his time in the NFL. Also with Josh McDaniels, a fine QB coach, he has a great shot. I still think the odds are against him being more than a solid QB but I hope he proves me wrong.

Jimmy never did anything for me to consider him the "bad guy". Also as a fan, I don't really care about a player's attitude or what he does off the field for the most part as long as he produces on the field.

I football hate the.......That being said give me a few years and I may be able to over look the fact he was\is a Gator. It has not happened yet with any Gator but who knows. The only reason I even am considering this is I like Denver, a little.

Disagree; after his first year espn and every other sports news outlet was all over him about how he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. He never really was left for dead or anything; college football loved him like the vols loved manning

The only people who were continuously insistant that he would fail were rival fans....and rival fans always do that

I'm not a Tebow, simply because he was a Gator. But I definitely don't underestimate the guy like soooo many others do. I understand that his mechanics in college would not translate well in the league, but why is it so difficult for everyone to just imagine that he MIGHT be able to succeed. The "Tebow will be a bust" bandwagon has accepted almost everyone that pays attention to football. I don't get it.
I hope he does well just for that reason. I love seeing someone prove Mel Kiper wrong.

Funny, I have absolutely no problem disliking self-promoting jackasses that played for Florida.

How can you compare Tebow to Crompton? Tebow has had to deal with almost no adversity until now.

Yeah Denver was pretty thin at preachy sissies who cry on national TV, but they aren't now.

They're also thin at TE. He might be a great fit there.

LOL at Tebow being converted into a TE.

I'd much rather hang out with the dude who told him to STFU with the holier-than-thou schtick.

BTW, Josh McDaniels is a damn idiot. He essentially traded Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall for Tim Tebow and Demaryius Thomas.

Unbelievable. Gruden said it best, whether he knew he was on-air or not.

I wouldn't mind seeing him do good, just so everyone who has spent years saying he should be a fullback or tight end will be wrong.

I could imagine Jon Gruden saying something like that with his infamous scowl to boot.

McDaniels is currently on the "get fired in three years" plan as far as I am concerned. What a joke.

In addition, McDaniels is also a total assclown.

Re: Tebow, now that he doesn't play for Florida, I have no opinion one way or the other of him.

And even then it's more "can he?" rather than "he can't"

I mean ESPN and the rest of the media ran Tebow getting picked in the first round as a bigger story/deal than Bradford going 1st overall.

He's the media darling and always has been; he doesn't have adversity....heck, I dare to say he's close to, if not at, the same level of Tom Brady of do no wrong / receive no criticism, honestly
