Is there anyone who can still defend this nonsense? I want to hear some legitimate excuses and how a supposed top 5 team in the preseason loses to basically nothing but walk ons? Let's hear it Warlickers tell us how its it's everyone and everything else's fault but Holly's.

I am in utter disbelief that Holly will allow her alma mater to sink to such a disgraceful state due to her stubborn refusal to admit she has failed as a head coach. She should resign immediately if she cares anything about the LVs great history in WCBB under CPS. I believe that most of the players will stay if they are given the hope of a new head coach. I believe that the LVs have enough talent to have a 24-3 record instead of a 16-11 record.

I fear you have underestimated the very human ability to rationalize and project cause and effect on circumstances other than those she has had control over. In her mind, a tweak here and a tweak there will get things right as rain next year. Human nature.

Or maybe she just doesn't give a crap, I don't know.

You can't always get what YOU want, and in this case there will most definitely NOT be a new Lady Vol coach.

Face reality, a new coach ain't happening.

Face reality, if this was a men's program Holly would be dead meat. What this says inreality is, we do not have an issue if women's programs are abused, after all they are only women. If we care about the Lady Vols we can't lavish over the possibility that the mediocrity will continue because it is reality. Reality is that this is at best SAD.

I still don't understand why some folks, especially those in charge, refuse to admit there is a major problem with the coach/players..And the blindly obedient fans are a mystery as well..If you don't acknowledge and address the problems within the program you can't begin to solve them..

IMHO solutions exist but can't be put in place if the problems are not eliminated first.....

Notre Dame, playing 12-ranked FSU tonight, hit 8 three pointers in the first half and scored 43 points. That is how you play offense in today's game--you cannot be a good team if you are not making three pointers, and that is doubly true when you are facing zone. Our brilliant coach sits our best shooter.

Other than ND's outside prowess, the way both teams pass the ball just shows how much UT needs to improve. Lindsay Allen has almost as many assists in a year than Reynolds or Carter would get in 3 years. Crisp passes with purpose, and very little holding the ball staring at the post player double teamed in the paint.

The LVs 80s/early 90s style of basketball will not win games against teams with similarly athletic players and superior (i.e. pretty much any) coaching. The entire program needs a serious overhaul.

Just watching that game, the quality of play was so much better than anything I've seen in the SEC all season....

She should be allowed to finish the season but NO WAY should she be back next year.

I agree.. She is the captain of this sinking ship, no way should she get an easy out.. She should be made to feel the wrath and disappointment of the Fans till the very end.
