I want to thank the previous staff for giving us a good EE class. Imagine what this class would be if it was not for the EE. Now, im not saying it is DD fault because he accepted a job at the absolute worse time but in my opinion it just goes to show that today is really the day that we will all miss the previous staff. So much more fun when your the ones shocking people with recruits instead of watching what you thought were yours sign somewhere else.

Uh no, push at best. I'd trade for a good recruiting staff being hired at a reasonable time to recruit a full class for 8 players. Don't get me wrong, having these 8 players saved this class due to timing of the bolt, but 8 ee vs. Three week screwing.... 8 ees don't win.

And you want to thank the previous staff for that? They are the REASON those kids started questioning their commitments to UT without leaving enough time for the new staff to get in place and re-recruit them.

Kiffin lied through his teeth when he said he wouldn't recruit UT commits. He's done it repeatedly and O was doing it even as Kiffin was making the statement. He did everything he could to undermine UT with every commit he could get in touch with. He stole information and left moles behind so that he could continue to have an advantage over UT for the kids they were both pursuing.

The previous staff gets absolutely, positively NO THANKS from me. They hosed UT in the worst possible way and then intentionally added to it after the fact.

Kiffin is an unethical, immoral, disloyal, louse.

If you are truly a Vol fan and are saying this... you need your head examined... or maybe your heart.

I think you are missing the point I was trying to make. I was just trying to say that today is the day of the year that the previous staff will be missed, because I think we can all agree that they were much better recruitors than coaches. Also, I was not happy when they left and the things that have went on since Im just glad it didnt happen 24 hours earlier, so that we were able to keep our EE. So, yeah I am a VOL fan and have been my whole life so I dont need my head or heart examined...maybe just need to learn how to get my point across better lol. GBO

NO, I do not miss the previous staff. When we have more time, there will be no need for the shockers. I will not thank the previous staff for a damn EE, they encouraged them all not to go to class and to go to USC.

No. I don't think I did. You said we should thank or appreciate them because in some way the class would have been worse if not for them.

My disagreement is that they are the reason UT was in the position they were in to start with. I don't appreciate them in the very least.

Not altogether sure I agree with that either. They got alot out of the Vols this year. They had some slip ups but by and large the team played hard and disciplined football.
Also, I was not happy when they left and the things that have went on since Im just glad it didnt happen 24 hours earlier, so that we were able to keep our EE.
If they had known that they weren't going to be able to get the EE's... they probably would have pushed the timeline forward. IMO, that was simply a miscalculation on their part. They definitely thought the EE's could leave... thus O calling them while CLK ran cover.

No. You need to get it out of your head and heart that CLK helped UT or in any way left the program better than he found it.

Outside of the EE's, UT's best signees are probably going to be guys that DD got commitments from- Hunter, Stone, Rogers, Lofton, etc. The most damaging losses will be guys that CLK went hard after and may have even played a part in getting them to commit somewhere other than UT or USC (Copeland, Williams, Smith, Lemonier, Green).

Saying you miss them today is like saying you miss your ex-wife on New Year's Eve who ran off with your best friend on Christmas Day.

Second this as well. The former threesome are no better than street hookers calling around to former kids they recruited here. You can't tell me with 300 kids in their own Cali back yard they have to come back and 1. screw us at the last minute and 2. then try to rape and pillage our recruiting class. Those three are the lowest of the low scum.

And I have heard some on hear say we did no better to LaTech. BS. We are SEC - D1 - BCS 105 k in the stands every week. Due to the three hookers we had no choice but to go get another coach. I wish all the bad karma on all three that they very much deserve.

You do not do to Tennessee what they did to us.
