...and came across University of Kentucky basketball fans. I can't tell you how sick I am of hearing "we're back, envy our past, fear our future." Blah Blah Blah. Congrats on hiring a slimeball for a coach! We will see where he lands you in a few years. Also, what have you done on the court so far? Sure, you beat a very young and inexperienced UNC squad...on your homecourt...after almost blowing a huge lead, and you also beat an overrated UConn team that doesn't have anyone who can shoot outside of three feet from the basket. When you are able to win a game of significance, feel free to toot your horn. Until then, quit acting like idiots and letting all that crap fly out of your mouths.

I'm pretty sick of it myself but trying to stomach it as much as I can. You'll hear it until the end of time so get use to it haha. No matter what happens when we play them, we sweep them, split, they sweep us, it won't change a thing. They hate Bruce Pearl, hate Tennessee, and have a rich tradition that they can quote and feel good about no matter what. Oh well. That's how it is.

Listen....I hate KY more than anyone, but trying to form an argument that their team is not good or hasnt beaten anyone is ridiculous. They are 3x's the team TN is at this very moment.

With that said, I hope we beat the life out of them.

Wouldn't recommend it. If you was to post that on Catpause, where they analyze every single dribble and eye movement, you'd likely be hunt down and shot. :p

So you just post negative on the Vols here because that's how you think it's supposed to go... It's all starting to make sense, finally!!! See, in reality, this is a place for Vol fans to show the Vols love and make fun of our opponents.:good!: Now criticize the win vs Wyoming and we'll be full circle.

I wish CatsPause would crash and burn. A UK fan I am, but I hate that place. It represents the worst of the Kentucky Fan base.

I have not criticized the Wyoming win.

We beat a team we were expected to beat. What's to criticize?

But with your logic the only things message boards are for is to show love and make fun of opponenets, therefore it is illegal for one to have an opinion.

Makes sense as to bringing a little clarity to your drivel on this site.

John Wall is a pleasure to watch. I do not know if I am turning into my father but I can no longer hate opposing players because of the tribalism of where I went to school and the team I support. I get a stomach ache when we lose and I want to beat Kentucky by 50 but if you cannot watch John Wall without feeling some awe you do not know much about basketball.

Save the hate for Worldwide We$, maybe even Coach Cal, certainly Easterwood, but not the team in our conference whose level we aspire to attain.

Drivel! Dang...If it was added to a banned list of words like sycophant or tanning I would enjoy the board more.

That said, the main user of 2 of the 3 words is refreshingly pleasant lately. Makes me enjoy reading his insights a great deal more!

They have basketball. It's just their thing. They listen to it from us in football. 25 years (and counting) worth. So whatever.

And we actually do beat them in basketball some. I equate a season sweep with a football victory, so we've done that since they've beaten us in football.

I can't stand UK, but I'll take 25 years of football dominance over a basketball win any day. We're not going to overtake them and probably never will, so there's no use arguing about tradition. But 25 years man, 25 years. And it's only going to continue.... beautiful

I can tell you I have turned into my father and its made for a lot more peaceful, respectful and enjoyable life. I love to watch John Wall. 10 years ago I would have discredited him and wanted him to fail. A miserable attitude.
