This is just my thoughts and prediction!!

1. Florida wideouts are fast.... but how do you take away speed of receivers?? Tennessee football, we will have Chris Leak running all game and we all know he can't throw the ball under pressure....ask CAL that question....and I wanna add this, I don't think Leak totally understands the west coast spread offense and thus, his confusion makes him make terrible decisions.

2. Florida's running game is iffy...........they really haven't done anything against a real team this year (SEC caliber line) and that is essential to SUBurban Meyer's offense

3. Randy Sanders confused everyone last year, even his own players. I think Cut cannot get "outcoached" in this game....I brought this up cuz even our worst year in 05 in awhile, we kept games close with our defense.....and our defense hasn't missed a beat!! Air Force, was just confusing and if you take away the interception, the media wouldn't have anything to call us out on this week........we would have scored a TD or field goal and it would have been a rout.......onsides kick?? LUCK....I felt the last 6 minutes last week was played like NCAA '07 on XBOX. !!!! BOTTOM LINE: we are capable of putting up 40 points tommorrow if we pkay discipline football!!

4. CUTCLIFFE........we are getting to the line with plenty of time on play clock as opposed to last year, we are crisp, and Florida has NOT been tested at all.....we have beat a top 10 team, and a very good triple option team and I am soooooooo thankful last week was close and not a rout......that will help us mentally late in the 4th tommorrow!! WE HAVE BEEN PUT IN THE PRESSURE COOKER AND they have not!!

5. I hate the gators.

Our coaches have more offense then they have showed in the first 2 games.......I gotta believe CUT has set the Gators up with formations etc......for film purposes only....and now we will even see stuff we haven't before!! I think we shut a very good spread offense down in CAL that has 2 great running backs, better then any I have seen Florida have. I think we will win by 2 touchdowns or more because I honestly think we are the more seasoned team.....and last thought, if Justin Harrell's actions can't fire a team up to rise to the occasion, we deserve to get beat!!
PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS AND GIVE ME YOUR OPINION WHETHER YOU THINK I AM RIGHT OR WRONG!! Go Vols

1. Leak had 20 TDs and 6 INTs last season. He has 7 TDs and 1 INT this year. The INT was due to Harvin not finishing his route. Bad decision maker? Hmmm...most people disagree with you there. In fact, his decision making is considered a STRENGTH.

2. We haven't played a SEC game yet. We have, however, played 2 teams that went to bowl games last season. This game will be our first against a non-bowl team from '05. :neener2:

3. Time will tell on your points (40) prediction. No offense, but Air Force would not have scored 30 on the Gators...regardless of their "confusing" offense. The Gator D just has too much talent and speed for that to happen.

4. Cutcliffe is good. I'll admit that. We're pretty good too.

5. Your feelings towards the Gators will have zero bearing on the outcome of the game.

I think I forgot to mention......we have the fastest linebackers we have ever had and that is going to be a factor......again, I think when Chris Leak is running for his life he does not good decisions.....he is a tremendous athlete, but Urban's offense I don't think he understands.... I will give u this......if you out rush tommorrow, we are beat! Best of luck to you, no matter what happens I respect your views!!

Yeah wow two crazy tough opponents bowl teams????? yeah well what if we played in a conference equivalent to the ovc would we have went to a bowl game then? Did you watch our game or were to you to busy listening to Corso the great moron talk about our game? And you are right Air Force would have scored 30 against the gators. We are fast and that hurt us last week we were running past every play, well either that or we were too busy tackling everything moving with the exception of the guys who had the ball. GO VOLS

We'll see how it is with an actual honest to God pass rush coming at him. (Same goes for Ainge)

:shakehead: Hard to believe, but I can't argue that fact. It is what it is. Be kind of embarrassing to lose to a team who didn't go to a bowl last year wouldn't it?

Time will tell on your points (40) prediction. No offense, but Air Force would have scored 30 on the Gators...regardless of their "confusing" offense. The Gator D just has too much talent and speed for that to happen.

FWIW, speed means nothing against that Air Force offense. Same goes for blitzing. I'm still impressed with how they ran that offense.

Cutcliffe is good. I'll admit that. We're pretty good too.

I think Cut has been planning for this game since he started spring practice. He'll have that offense ready....Just have to execute the plays well.

Your feelings towards the Gators will have zero bearing on the outcome of the game.

107,000 feelings towards the Gators might have a little bearing on the outcome. We'll see how that young offensive line handles it.

I agree our front on D will be the key, backers must not overrun but must not let leak get comfortable back there. GO VOLS ROCK EM.

Chris Leak is the most overrated QB in the SEC and maybe the Nation......You hit him 3 or 4 times, hard and he's all to hell the rest of the game and that's the bottom line, in every game they lost last year, that's how he was.......Take the Alabama game for instance, I bet that boy was seeing Demeco Ryans and Freddie Roach in his sleep last year after that game....See Miami from 2003 in the Peach Bowl....He looked like a 4 year scared for his life running around against that Miami defense...What was the final of that game? I believe it was 30-3 or something to that tune? Chris Leak won't have as big of a day as some of you gator fans migh think.

Leak has put up big numbers in big games against SEC teams in the past, largely on his ability to scramble outside of the pocket and find the open receiver. If you can contain him in the pocket while closing down his passing lanes (a challenge as you have to pressure up the middle and both sides to accomplish this), then you can beat Chris Leak.

But his whole career he's been a bit undersized, so he's done a great job of rolling out to the side with least pressure and completing passes downfield.

He has a good grasp of THIS offense. Last year I would've agreed with you on not understanding the Meyer offense. But this offense has been well adapted to the abilities of Chris and his teammates.

Sure, you'll get some pressure on Chris, and you'll probably sack him and will definitely cause him to scramble. The question is, will it be enough?

2. Florida's running game is iffy...........they really haven't done anything against a real team this year (SEC caliber line) and that is essential to SUBurban Meyer's offense

Both running games have a BIG question mark beside them. Especially if that ankle sprain is bothering ole what's his name.

3. Randy Sanders confused everyone last year, even his own players. I think Cut cannot get "outcoached" in this game....I brought this up cuz even our worst year in 05 in awhile, we kept games close with our defense.....and our defense hasn't missed a beat!! While the offense wasn't totally revamped, Cutcliffe has installed a lot of new plays to this team, including, I'm sure, a few surprises for UF. But with a new offensive coordinator comes an adjustment period. So far the Cutcliffe offense has gone nearly 50% through one back and 50% through one receiver. That isn't going to cut it tomorrow, so some folks who haven't had to show their understanding of Cutcliffe football are going to have to step it up today. I also doubt we'll see Meachem get nearly as many yards after catch today as he did against Cali.

40 points sounds more like a bourbon dream than reality.

But that's why we play these games. Somebody's prediction is alway right. A bunch of other people's predictions are always wrong. The fun is in watching it unfold.

LIFFE........we are getting to the line with plenty of time on play clock as opposed to last year, we are crisp, and Florida has NOT been tested at all.....we have beat a top 10 team, and a very good triple option team and I am soooooooo thankful last week was close and not a rout......that will help us mentally late in the 4th tommorrow!! WE HAVE BEEN PUT IN THE PRESSURE COOKER AND they have not!!

The pressure-cooker analogy applies in this case to the UF freshmen, and that is where UF will need to rely on their more experienced players until the newbies settle down. But don't think that the UT players won't be feeling pressure about this game. They've got a lot of pride and in some folk's opinion even the Fulmer's job on the line. That's pressure!

I hate the gators.

Yeah, you and 107,000 other folks! But while your hatred may cause some noise (if you are at the game), how much that will influence the game remains to be seen. It could be a lot, it could be a little. We'll know in a few hours.

Our coaches have more offense then they have showed in the first 2 games.......I gotta believe CUT has set the Gators up with formations etc......for film purposes only....and now we will even see stuff we haven't before!! Chances are that Meyer also has set up a few surprises as well. That goes both ways. Cal's spread offense and UF's spread are nowhere near as similar as you'd like to believe. UF's is designed to take advantage of the kind of overpursuit that UT was vulnerable to last weekend. If your D shows the lack of discipline in holding their assignments that they showed against AF, they'll be in trouble today.

While Justin Harrell's injury and decision to play are inspiring, if either team can't get up for this game, even without that, they don't deserve to be on this field. This kind of game is the reason players put in countless hours of training, practice two-a-days in heat with a heat index in the mid 100's, and watch film for hours each week.

I expect both teams to be fired up for this game. The bigger coaching challenge may be to keep the teams from being TOO fired up.

It should be a great game. My prediction is that UT will not score 40 points.

Talent and speed isn't what beats the triple option...are you crazy? It is taking it slow and careful and playing assignment football...which I will agree we didn't do. I'm not sure that Chavis even asked his team to do that. I think that Chief looked right past Air Force and didn't want the D to get out of their SEC habits...and could for once lean on a renewed Vol offense.

Did I not post some telling stats about Chris Leak last season against good pass Ds?

Yeah, he didn't play even average last season against top 30 pass Ds.
