i hadnt really realizes it til my dad pointed it out last night but whats going on with Bobby? He doesnt do anythin for 80% of the game he dribbles down ad passes off and thats it, no driving no shooting nothing. Then the last 2 minutes he kicks it into gear and starts playing ball, he shakes ad bakes ad drives and finishes. He crosses over and pulls up for jump shot and looks so smooth. its like hes been told not to drive ad not to drive and pull up but to just stand on the permeter and pass around. It seems to me that if he was driiving and playing like he seemsvery capable of that it would really help our offense. Just thought i would point that out and see what everybodys opinion on this topic was, because i really think he seems to be being held back from playin full out

I honestly do not think Bruce wants them to do anything but pass across the perimeter...It is the offense he has placed with these kids...I can not explain why but it loks that way to me...We need to get Tyler the ball inside more...Not on the perimeter IMO

i couldnt agree anymore tyler needs to quit catching it on the perimeter. maze needs to drive and either pull or if they collapse drop to tyler or wayne.

I'd like to see Williams on the court more with Smith, Tyler, Maze and Tatum/Prince. Sit Hopson. The half-court offense sux because our skinny wingers are young and don't quite know what to do out there except hoist up threes late in the clock count. Go bigger and try to get more inside scoring--which has been a perennial problem with Pearl's UT teams. We need to bang a little more, IMO.

If you check out the news reports of Maze being dismissed from Okalahoma by Coach Capel, Capel (a Duke player from circa '93) stated it was more for attitude and practice habits than anything. Basically not a team player rather a me first guy. I think we're in big trouble.

You're right. Bobby Maze forces way too many shots and is always looking to drive to the basket even when its not there. He probably puts up 40% of our shots. Its always about me, me, me when scoring points.

/sarcasm off
