Idea to extend Football Season!

I just had a great idea. Football season is SOOOOO short and it sucks really bad when it's over. Since football injuries are becoming so prominent in today's game, why not schedule football so that every team plays every OTHER week instead of having two bye weeks per year? It would lengthen the football season a good deal, and allow banged up players to heal between games. I know...probably not feasible or would ever happen, but it seems like a win-win in my book. Any thoughts?

I just wanted National Signing Day to be today.
The off season is terrible. Its down time and when I have to get caught up on Honey do this stuff list. I wish CBJ, or hell you guys, could motivate me for all the "off season" chores that always need to be done. Painting sux by the way.And NO BOWL GAME!

i say add 2 more games a year and give each team 15 more players on scholarships,add in another bye week and then have a playoff system,taking the top 2 teams from each division and doing one hell of a play off season before the national championship game and a scout team division too,for the game withdrawals during spring so the walk ons get some playing time and a chance to develop,while we wait for fall football,sounds good to me

we just need more spring/summer entertainment......how about make every eligible HS senior register for a conference draft. Some stud from the south could register for both the ACC and the SEC. He'd be the first pick, and he has to choose between UK and UVA....the # 2 prospect would have to choose from NC State and Arky.......

I know, i know, but talk about prime time TV and an exciting break between Spring practice and fall camp.

I made this thread knowing that it is an idea that wouldn't ever happen and I would hate a game every other week as well. BUT....I hate when football season ends and it takes forever to get back. Even WITH a bowl, we still have 8 months without UT football. That sucks.
