Beer would be terrific (well, for me, at least), but obviously that's not gonna happen. I'm quite convinced that UT's home attendance would jump 3,000-4,000 per game if they sold beer.
The Kiss-Cam needs to go. It's distracting. Especially if it happens at a critical time out, when UT is rallying from a deficit, say - sucks the intensity out of the arena, takes away from home court advantage. You think they do stuff like that at Rupp or Cameron Indoor Arena? Actually, I think quite a few of the "during time-out" activities go on a bit too long, except for, of course, the dance team. I understand that the administration is marketing basketball as an inexpensive (which it is, thankfully), family-friendly activity, and I'm fine with the goofy halftime schtick, because I know kids are into that stuff, but during the game, let's focus on the action.
Isn't Bobby Denton the P.A. announcer? I think he actually does a pretty good job.
