If Jimbo gets the gig, here's who I want him to have on staff:

OC/QB - Darin Hinshaw (learned under Chaney and would have help from Fisher)
DC/Secondary - Marvin Sanders (Current secondary coach at USC. Has been a DC @ UNC and Nebraska)
RB - Jay Graham
WR - Tee Martin
OL - Sam Pittman
DL - D.J. Eliot (FSU DE coach)
LB - Joe Scola (GA @ FSU)
TE/ST/Asst Head Coach - Eddie Gran (probably would never happen but wouldn't it be great...)

Note: Both Sanders and Martin were heavily involved in getting Ramsey to go to USC.

Who would you like to see?

No way Hinshaw deserves to be the OC at a power conference school yet. He's done a great job, don't get me wrong, but running an offense is a different thing altogether. Don't agree with that thought at all.

I don't understand the love for Hinshaw.

Wide receivers catching the ball was a real sore spot for the team and that was his players dropping balls.

Any coaching staff that has Hinshaw, Tee Martin, Jay Graham and Sam Pittman...everybody else I don't care...just keep the 3 currently here and bring Tee home...it's about time!

I do not see Hinshaw and Tee being on the same staff. Their expertise is WR/QB coaching. The only way it would work is if one was promoted to OC...JMO

y'all do realize that any current HC is probably going to bring his current staff with him

Hinshaw as the recruiting coordinator shares in the blame for the relationships not being built with the in-state schools. I believe that fact should be enough to not retain him. In addition to the previous post stating the case of so many drops in the WR group.

Totally up to new coach. Woluld like to keep Graham as I hear is really doing well recruiting. Pittman seems to have done a good job and as the dust settles, Chaney is a decent OC. On the defensive side, I have no clue. That said, we shouldn't keep someone around just to save money.

Word around here is that Strong may bring Joker Phillips to be his OC wherever he ends up. If we do get strong I hope that this doesn't come true.
