He can play PG well enough. He's also much more athletic than say... a Chris Lofton or a JJ Reddick (who was tall enough). I just can't see that many people going in front of him. But maybe the height will get to him.
Eh, I guess we'll see how he does as PG of this Texas team throughout the season.
I'm surprised Bilas only said Abrams could go in the 2nd round. With this incoming freshman class being so weak I can't see him outside of the 1st round
Abrams is weak against bigger, more athletic guards. See Memphis' boning of Te-has in E8 last year. Abrams and Augustin were non-factors. Teams like Tigers, Vols, Zags with their length and athleticism shut down guards like Abrams. What would NBA players do? That's why he's 2nd round material.
