If Abrams is hittin' it, TX is Nasty

I'm surprised Bilas only said Abrams could go in the 2nd round. With this incoming freshman class being so weak I can't see him outside of the 1st round

Tough spot to take a basketball midget, especially one that can't pg.

He can play PG well enough. He's also much more athletic than say... a Chris Lofton or a JJ Reddick (who was tall enough). I just can't see that many people going in front of him. But maybe the height will get to him.

Eh, I guess we'll see how he does as PG of this Texas team throughout the season.

I think the PG experiment is essentially over because he didn't do it very well.

I guess. Well even if he does go in the 2nd round, he'll stick around an NBA team. Man can light it up from anywhere.

Eh. You're right. I didn't realize he was only 5'11. I was under the impression he was around 6'2". Many apologies to Bilas

Abrams is weak against bigger, more athletic guards. See Memphis' boning of Te-has in E8 last year. Abrams and Augustin were non-factors. Teams like Tigers, Vols, Zags with their length and athleticism shut down guards like Abrams. What would NBA players do? That's why he's 2nd round material.

Uhhhh, those Memphis guys were NBAers.

What a recruiting class(2006).

Abrams, Durant, and Augustin to go along with James, Mason, and even Pittman. I'd say Barnes knew what he was doing.

Abrams absolutely torched Tennessee last year.

Not positive, but I believe Abrams was a Sophomore when Augustin and Durant were Freshmen.
