He is going to have to be ruthless and let some friends go and hire a better staff. Especially these two coordinators. Unfortuately I think Butch will have Phil disease and be too loyal to coaches who are friends but can't get it done.

What Butch needs to do is not cave in to the pressure of the fans like he did with the Peterman experiment.

IF you've ever played the game or just actually know the game yourll know : THIS HAD VERY LITTLE TO DO WITH COACHING.

We are slow. they are Oregon jr. our special teams sucks cause we have walk ons and bad 3 * and auburn has young 4 and 5*

this staff has been successful at EVERY stop.. fact.

am I sold? NO! am I ready to give up ? NO! atleast give us two years JESSH:lolabove:

The best defensive scheme isn't going to do anything when your players over pursue and are consistently out of position.

You may be correct. The 3rd and 4th down calls at the end of the game were sorry. We had run that shift play earlier with a nice gain but Auburn was ready for it. The 4th down play running outside never works in the SEC. Jancek was terrible, we knew what they were going to do but just couldn't stop them. Special teams gave up 3 touchdowns, even though there was a clear block in the back as shown on tv just exposed our lack of speed big time. Bring on the recruiting class and let them play. We are a worn out, slow, team that is showing that.

Butch will absolutely have some serious staff decisions to make after year 2 or 3. Shaking up the staff on this recruiting run would be counterproductive.

I agree that he caved there - giving a QB their first start on the road and at the Swamp is stupid.

But recognizing that the defense is going nowhere fast is not caving into pressure from fans.
