Why not just make a whole sale change last night it’s college they are athletes both sides of the ball if the defense was throwing the game why not play some backup o line on d line wr at cb etc. find the 22 guys that actually give a rats a and try to win. If they threw the game or poor effort to prove a point it just shows what a lack of intelligence some have. Let’s lose a game so badly that we become the laughing stock again that’s really going to help our draft status. Banks likely had a chance to be a backup or practice player in nfl but if it gets out that he truly caused this disruption he is done for no one will take him and his baggage.

Was Banks suspended or injured? I don’t think anyone was throwing the game - too much to play for.

I had a bad feeling all day yesterday since TN had played in one raucous bed game. LSU was a 11am kickoff and TN took advantage of the LSU fumble, etc., so the crowd never got going.

We are a finesse team with players who despise contact (except Bru). Our WRs are avg route runners as they are used to being open due to mismatches. USCjr has elite corners, but we didn’t expose their freshmen safeties. Tillman had stats but he and Hyatt complained all game instead of fighting to get open. I wasn’t there but those in attendance said they both gave up on routes and instead threw up their hands to complain to the refs. It’s football! Play through it and get open. Let’s the refs call the game and the players play! Every play the WR and DB jostle down the field, it happens.
I love this team and it hurts that we lost as we had a playoff chance. TN would’ve needed USC, Michigan, Ohio St, or TCU to lose yesterday but happened. USC still plays Notre Dame and TCU against Kansas St. It’s a moot point now but still hurts.

I don’t know if they were scoreboard watching and dejected that TCU and Michigan won?

Anyway, I don’t know about Banks or the “cancer” you are referring to, so please explain.

They not have thrown the game, but there were in inspired and sloppy. Hadden dunno g off at the mouth down 18. It’s what a kissing team does and we are not a losing team. Some bad juju was stuck between their ears co into to this game

LOTS of bad rumors flying around that the team is divided over NIL, etc. NIL will ruin many more teams. Ours just happen to get ruined at the absolute worst time. Very WEAK leadership on this squad. Including the coaching staff for allowing it to fester.

That's not how any of this works.. The defense didn't let up because Banks got into a fight (if it's true).

I get what you are saying but any member of that team with any pride whatsoever is already 10x more pi$$ed at that performance than any of us are. I don’t imagine they woke up with a sunny disposition this morning and were suddenly brought down by “negativity” from some random fans. This already hurts them infinitely worse than it does us. The only important question is how they handle it. And that is independent of any thread on Volnation. I fully expect them to feel negatively until the problem is solved

I don’t think they came in with an organized plan to throw the game. However, I do think something happened that caused them to be disinterested and distracted to the point that they might well have thrown the game. The end result was the same whether intentional or not.
