USC cannot afford to take Lane with all the sanctions brought up which is partly why some think Carroll is getting out of Dodge. If they hired lane his recent recruiting questions would keep USC in a bad light.

I was a Fisher supporter until this year...although I hope he can turn things around and rebound next year and I'll continue to hope for the best...as long as he's coaching I'm going to have that pitt in my stomach in big games, much like when Fulmer was here.

If Fisher has his way, he'd be out of a job right now. Bud saved his skin by MAKING him play VY. It didn't take long for him to look like an @$$ for that stubborn refusal to make the change before the season went into the tank with the Patriots beatdown.
