...he was coaching for his job, there's no way he makes that call. I think he's done.

PLEASE NOTE: I have no inside information...this is purely a hunch...I'm not saying anything ugly...just felt like the decision of a coached resigned to his fate.

Yep
I think Dooley wants to be fired and collect his buyout. That's the only answer I can come up with on letting the clock run out.

One thing a coach does is give his kids a chance to win and he took it out of the players hands. I have been willing to give Dooley the benefit of the doubt but that is the biggest bone head coaching decision I have EVER seen.

How in heaven's name do you put the game on defense by going to overtime instead of going to your strength. I cannot believe what we are seeing.

Well if he gets bought out after this season, then that means in 3 years he would have earned $11 million...he is not as dumb as everyone thinks.

Even if they win that should be the end of Dooley at Tennessee. How do you make that call?

Getting a law degree must be a piece of cake or doesn't leave a place for common sense. Man, that is bad.

I don't really have a dog in this fight, (I root for AL in football, sorry!) but I'd would have fired him on the spot.

I wonder if you could fire him for cause - cause he is stupid. He can say we don't have depth or fire all he wants about the past, but the present is Dooley lost that game.
