it's possible that we would have been better off. The Gators were all shook up in the 1st quarter and really have had their own offensive struggles. Looks to me like they found their answer with this new QB.

You might be right... Wondering why they had Mack Brown as second string before the season started (#33).. So, now I'm kind of wondering why they had Murphy as the backup too. Dude is legit.

I was thinking the same thing. Driskel is a turnover machine with a hurt knee limiting his mobility. Murphy protected the ball, made some good passes when he had to, and killed us with his legs. Florida was much better off with Murphy than Driskel IMO.

We might have gotten a a INT more or two......on the other hand, no real excusing our tackling and letting back up get out of the box, he wasn't exactly Cam Newton.

Really man???? I don't see how any part of this game falls on the defense.......... I'm sorry when, I think people don't realize that when the defense is on the field for 70% of the game not much chance of winning....... Murphy or Driskell would have beaten the vols with that disgusting and pathetic out put of offense...... Move on here

I love what this staff is doing with our squad don't get me wrong......but our defense has a history of making a WR at QB look greater than a current bench warming rookie QB for the K. C. Chiefs....for example :dunno:

He looked better than a one game wonder. Looked like he was just waiting for his time. That's how it's supposed to work. You lose a QB and then another one steps up. Announcers said that Driscoll may not have a job when he heals up. I don't think so either.

Hate to say it, but until Murphy shows he's inept too, I hope he stays the starter.

Oh well.. I'm not beating my chest here, UF looked like a bag of crap today. I'm very surprised they pulled out the win.

You know your team sucks when you wish they didn't knock the other teams starting QB out of the game.

Yeah but the kid made some plays. I give some credit when it's due. The kid didn't set his feet and float a 3 yard INT to a defensive lineman. He didn't look like he was fresh off the sideline. He came in cold and outplayed Driscoll by a long shot.

Don't be to harsh on the Vols here. We handled what we expected pretty well ! Then you break a guy's leg. There is supposed to be a drop off ! Florida just trots out another incredible athlete.... Where is Al Wilson when you need him !!!!! Oh I know, it's AJ Johnson.
AL WILSON would Jail Rape AJ Johnson for his performance, not for his play at LB but for his leadership!

Their backup QB really isn't that good; we just made him look pretty good.

No way this UF team beats a good team unless he improves a TON.

My point exactly...we some how make back up QB's look like 24 game starting veterans....anything that can make UT look like a laughing stock in big games has become the norm for us. It is like we are destined to suck. I think Fulmer has cursed the program with some bayou voodoo priestess for firing him :yes: That has to be the real cause for our troubles.

If the offense could've moved the ball just a little Murphy wouldn't have looked near as good as he did. The defense was just worn out. I think were a QB away from being a decent team...let's hope the light goes on for one of these guys.

Their QB wasn't the issue, it was ours, the almighty peterman that people wanted and begged for. I hope those people are happy now with the results. Peterman this, peterman that, BS!

He's garbage!

The injury to Driskel may have saved the Gator's season. He is not "football" smart. This was the first chance that Murph has gotten a chance in a game and he played well.

I believe if Jeff had stayed healthy, UT would have won the game today.
