If Fedora/Strong turn us down what about Interim?

Ok so if Strong and Fedora turn us down what about just going with an interim for a year? It would give us time to get the academic things straightened out and also give us a full year to look for a great coach instead of settling on some 3rd tier and being stuck with them for at least 3-4 years.

You don't go interim when you've had 12 months to work on making the next hire.

Yah but clearly Hart wasn't looking for a new coach before Dooley was fired. Actually from the looks of things he really didn't start until mid last week.
There is NO way he's been working on this a full year and Strong, Gundy and Fedora are your top targets.
