How many times is Fulmer going to say, "We had to play it close to the vest with a young quarterback."???


I swear he's said that a hundred times as if were an excuse not to open up the playbook.


"We have a young QB, so on 3rd and 9, we'll throw a bubble screen and get 4 yards. I just don't think our young QB is ready to throw it 10 yards for the first down."


I wish Fulmer and Sanders were more agressive and started to play to win instead playing not to lose.

If a young QB cannot execute a simple, close to the vest gameplan, how is he going to execute when we "open the book"? Ainge had opportunities downfield Saturrday and missed, simple as that.
