and I find out Cuonzo Martin is the new coach? I'd be fired up more than I would most of the other coaches mentioned. You guys gather your own reasons as to why, but perception and first image of a coach go a long way for these recruits. UT has a young, African American coach with NBA experience. Our cred with the ones who count, the recruits, just went up, regardless of what we think about the hire. Me? Let's see what happens. I'm good with it.

If you don't think UT will get an extra look from some talented basketball players because we now have a young, black coach you are a dumbasses. Nothing racist about it. It is what it is.

Ok so we have to call black people African American and call ourselves white. I never hear anyone say "Ask that caucasian man..."

You guys are so dramatic. This is a great hire for UT. We will also get extra looks from recruits, and it won't be because of his vast experience. There is nothing racist about it, just a drama queen zone on this night of big news.

When certain people disagree on here and can't fathom an issue that is common sense to me, the more the merrier because 90% of the people on here have no idea what they are talking about. We just shot up the charts with a key Memphis jr. Tonight.
