I would be doing everything possible to lobby Jay Frye and Mark Martin to come together to start a cup program. Too many things add up for this not to be considered.

If he wanted to make the jump to Cup now is the best time. He gets a team already up and running, with two locked in cars. Not to mention he can re-sign Vickers and might land Mark as well. If he could get Cole Whitt as part of the package would be huge too.

I don't know if Turner has the money though, especially since he doesn't have a full time sponsor for the #31 NNS car and #31 truck. Still he has proven he'll fund those races out of pocket, Steve is real racer and isn't in it for the short term. Both Nationwide and Truck programs are competitive week in and week out.

He has more than enough money and resources to field competitive cars at the Cup level.
