A lot of people are saying that it's FRIDAY.

But I'm wondering with TN vs Georgetown (SEC vs Big East)
on Friday also, will that conflict?

I'm assuming a bunch of media guys from TN would be at the BBALL game and wouldn't want to miss the announcement.

So who does the presser after the games? The Georgetown media guys? I always thought the away team has their own room as well. I could be wrong, but that would make sense right??

Not saying some local media won't be covering. It just won't be the major contingent that you see at home games, esp if there is some talk of a potential press conference/announcement on the coaching front.

The media is going to be stretched thin as it is. There's the Georgetown game and more importantly, the SEC Championship the next day in Atlanta. And if the reports are accurate, Gruden won't be on MNF on Monday. So, they obviously cannot wait.

Don't see how the announcement can be anytime but Friday, if not before. Nothing else seems to make as much sense.

IMO, Friday is perfect. The SECCG on Saturday. The highschool championship games starting Friday afternoon. Twitter would explode and it will be all over the news all weekend.

I'm starting to believe the Thursday date now, just the way this thing is breaking.

Okay, what is making people think that it will be tomorrow or Friday? Just because "stuff" is starting to leak?
