Seriously, I saw Trestman's name and couldn't believe it. I really thought Petrino would have been a great fit at Miami. I think you all will be fine if you get Edsall.

Yay for the 2% of French Canada that watches American Football. Well, throw in the ones that watch CFL on NFL Network (Me).

Trestman is genuinely a great guy, don't think he has the makings for this job though. He hasn't lasted long anywhere he has went, and tried to implement the WCO verbatim at NC State (Disaster).

CFL is slightly different than the U.

Dungy places a lot of faith in his ability.

He's not that bad. He's done some outstanding work with Anthony Calvillo. :p

To be honest, he had some decent offenses in the NFL with Plummer and Gannon. But, transitioning his offense, WCO, verbatim to college is asking for a disaster. NC State wasn't too pretty.

I agree if this happens, it will set you back to the point where the best season you will have, will be about like Mississippi State had this year. like I said a few days ago (and some homo tried to turn it around on me), but I guess I had higher expectations of where this search would go. But at the same rate, it could be worse.

Looks like Al Golden has been offered the Pitt job.

So if he's the guy at The U, we should know something soon.
