After watching UT football games I DVR'd , If they made the flop illegal in football like in basketball Justin Hunter would be screwed. I was at every home game so I never really noticed it that bad but the dude as soon as he caught the ball if he was in the open field he would jump in the ground like someone was shooting at him. What a sand bagger.

Meh...Marvin Harrison made a career of intentionally avoiding contact after catching just about everything Peyton threw at him.

Hunter isn't exactly built like Terrell Owens, and he just successfully came back from an ACL injury. I understand.

I appreciate what hunter did while he was here but he was a selfish player this year. He didn't go after any big catches or fight for extra yardage unless it was against weaker talent he protected is body in spite of what was best for the team.....while I wish him the best, I'm glad we can get someone in his spot to give their ALL for Tennessee

Your very right. He is a great athlete but if he doesn't play to his potential than he won't last long.

Most draft choices are based on potential and measurables (Bryce Brown). The NFL is a different game. All you're saying is that if he doesn't improve then he won't have a good/long career. Which is true, but you can say that about anyone ( except your RG3's of the world).

I'm just saying if he doesn't get off that pacifier then ya he is gonna be done for. I'm so glad that I don't have to watch him play another down in Neyland and make a mockery of the team because he is just going with the get rich quick method. Justin Hunter is no VFL

Ehhh that's a little harsh but yes I understand the frustration

The guy was 12 months removed from major knee surgery. We got a lot more out of him than I expected honestly. He clearly wasn't as dynamic after the catch as before. I don't know how you expect anybody to come back from that as if nothing happened.

Anyone that is glad Hunter won't be back is completely clueless.

Wow. He played hard for us and had a lot of sucess. He did it with class and now he will continue to represent us at the highest level. Agree to disagree. I've said my peace.

There's no other way to put this. That is completely stupid.

Falling to the ground after a catch on purpose is about as gutless as letting the clock run out against mizzou.....but I guess it was monkey see, monkey do.....say what u want....it was all about enough stats to make it to the nfl, not wins....CP is an exceptional athlete but athleticism aside, if we could get the whole to give 75% of his effort we would be sitting pretty

Lattimore seemed to be doing ok before his second injury and his role was a lot morw physical than being a WR.....it's an effort thing not a capability thing

Do they have the same body? No! Bodies heal differently that's what make us human. Otherwise we would be robots and just interchangeable. Lol

Your right every BODY is different but I think it's called HEART, and GUTS and love for their university and team that seperates Lattimore and Hunter. Lattimores got it Hunter doesn't.

Lattimore averaged about 23 carries per game in 2011. He was down around 15 carries per game in 2012.

It takes a special kind of "gutless" to return after an ACL tear and catch 70+ balls for 1,000 yards. I hope we find others equally as "gutless" to play WR in the future.

Yep I agree, I Hunter and Bray had been better on defense we would have won more games.
It does not matter, the defense was the real problem!
