If TN beats Alabama, how many prospects verbal commit next day?

no body will commit, that we can count on anyways. I want people to com mit who have belief in kiffin and where we are headed. Its shouldnt take a huge upset to get a verbal. Anyways those type of commits decommit as soon as we lose a game we arent supposed to.

The same as if we lose, if anyone commits it will have been saved for after this game.
I'd like to think we might get 1 but im nt going to be mortified if we don't get any.

I have a well lets say feeling that if things go according to plan dont be surprised to see a commitment or two following it

I don't expect anymore commits until the week after the USCjr. game. We will have a ton of visitors for that one, and it seems like a few of the prospects are going to be wrapping up their recruitment around that time...

Most kids that are not EE, at this time will wait for NSD or Special All-American games.

Good point I bet with James if we didn't put it all over GA that he would have already commited there, and Green he wouldn't be considering us like he is if we would have lost to GA....

I agree that I would rather have a future Vol commit based on this staff's coaching ability, overall direction of the program, and belief in Tennessee football rather than the outcome of one game, however, doesn't winning a big game like Bama (especially with the current talent level we have verses the talent they have) show great coaching ability and that the program is moving up?

this staff is smart....if we upset bama i can almost assure you we will not get a commit unless it is a top 50 type player....we will use that momentum to swing even bigger recruits that what is on our board now

I think a big win has more to do with the future of the program in a recruits mind than anything else. However, I personally think the atmosphere of a home game has MUCH more of an impact than any road win could ever have, even if we somehow beat Bama by 40. Just look at the commits we got after the UCLA debacle. That was all the great atmosphere ( and prolly a tad to do with our great coaches :) )

It would be a statement to the nation if Kiffin somehow pulled out a victory over Bama. I think it would put us over the top with some guys we are already in the running for and get some recruits attention that we had no shot at before. It just shows the program is headed in the right direction.
