This isn't a smack talk endeavor.

I'm trying to gauge the reaction you guys will have if you lose versus the reaction we will have if we lose.

I'm scared that if we lose, the Fire-Miles morons will become ever more vocal. What they fail to realize is that we've arguably played our hardest road schedule in the past 10 years this year.

I'll call for Miles to be fired when we have our first losing season under his rule. I'll take 6-5 before I call for his head.

What about you guys and Phil?

We'll be disappointed, but if Tennessee loses to LSU or Arkansas, but wins the rest finishing 10-2, EVERYONE will consider this season a huge success.

Failing a compelte collapse at this point and three more losses through season's end, Fulmer is fine.

Disappointment, of course... but it wouldn't be like losing to Vanderbilt or Memphis. LSU is a good team and would be an understandable loss, as others have said. Of course, circumstances could dictate just how understandable a loss could be...

Exactly. Kids have been playing their hearts out. You can see it. For that, they have gained respect back in the media and from the overall fan base. Game should be close.

Man, I'm looking at the score-picking thread, and I see a lot of close scores. I really don't think it's going to be close. One of these two teams is going to make some big mistakes and practically forfeit the game, like LSU v. Florida.

OOOOooooh boy. I'm so freaking nervous about this one.:focus:

Speaking as one of the "let's run Phil out on a rail asap" crowd, I said preseason that a 10-2 season would be enough to shut me up on the subject during the 2007 off season. I'm sticking by that, which means I'd consider a 1-1 split on the next two games to be acceptable.

Atreus if you are a scared get a dog!

Just kidding with ya. I think it will be close but the VOLS have all my confidence this year showing that they have the guts to make late game comebacks.

Very True, just remind LSU not to be trying to pet Smokey.

Before the season I thought 9-3 would be very good, but now I would be disappointed in 9-3, but Phil's job would certainly not be in jeporady.

I'm expecting a close game. Games between good SEC teams are nearly always close.

Just like in the NFL most teams tend to get conservative if they have a lead in the second half trying to minimize mistakes and of course the trailing team starts taking chances. Every once in a while that backfires and results in a blow-out but most of the time the games stay close.

You might look at me as biased, but I am picking LSU to win. It benefits Ark more if LSU loses, but i just don't see it. IMO

Losing to a LSU team this good wont be a big blow at all. This is a team that almost everyone predicted to beat us at the beginning of the year anyway.

I dont want to loose this game but I am prepared for a loss. It is going to take our best effort to pull this one out.

I'm not counting on another LSU self destruction like Florida.

I wouldn't be so hasty Hog bumping your gums. You have a good season so far, but look at the last few seasons. I'd lay a little low if I were you!

If UT loses, and Auburn and Florida win out (Arkansas wins SECW), then this game essentially means nothing. We will play in the Florida Citrus Bowl.
